Solitude

sol·i·tude–noun
1.the state of being or living alone; seclusion: to enjoy one's solitude.
2.remoteness from habitations, as of a place; absence of human activity: the solitude of the mountains.
3.a lonely, unfrequented place: a solitude in the mountains.

Why is solitude important to the Christian walk and life style?

It's where we meet God. It's where we let the silence envelop us that we hear him.

Most of the time I think I need to be around people. That being alone makes me an outcast. I couldn't even go into a store by myself without feeling the self-conscience feeling that makes me feel as though everyone is staring at me.

Lately God has given me a peace. Knowing that when I am alone I can hear and talk to him. Hes there.I'm not actually alone. Sandy gave me a book to read that focuses on our "desert" place that is our solitary place. It's made some very valid points that I would like to further write about. This post could have been better. Not going to lie. I'm exhausted. Till another time.

Lately

God has been doing more in my life than I could have imagined! I'll be back on here to write more later. I just wanted to make this and get something on it.
